The pages in this interactive book are actually pockets, into which you can slide a series of tags. I’ve made several of these, and they’re so much fun! My first (pictured here) had a “Fun” theme, so I included images, graphics, rubber stamps, and paper scraps that represented things that are FUN and made me smile — but I went on to make other tag books, including a recipe book and a contact book (showing the name, address, phone number, email and birthday for all the guests at my wedding shower).
In class, I demonstrate two different methods for constructing the pocket pages, provide several templates for the tags, and provide huge bins of paper scraps and fibers to use in constructing your covers, pocket pages, and tags.
Special thanks to my friend “Chatty” (Ranie P.) for inspiring this idea.
