The words “Creativity Potential” and “Always Unlimited” (cut from magazines) were the inspiration for this page.
The background was made using Distress inks applied through several stencils using a blending tool, and then partially covered up with yellow acrylic paint. I collaged various words (cut from magazines) with blue postage stamps, added some journaling (in spiral shapes), and added a few last-minute stencils to the top layer.
What I love about stenciling with Distress Inks is that I can pick exactly where I want the images to be. I don’t have to use the entire stencil, nor do I have to cover the entire page. I can pick and choose what parts and pieces I want to appear where, and that’s a lot of fun!
