A few weeks ago, I inserted 2015 pages into the Smash Calendar that I made in 2013. This will be my third year of using this amazing calendar — my favourite calendar ever!! With tabbed edges, each page contains a monthly calendar, a “library card” that tucks behind the calendar and shows repeating events such as birthdays and anniversaries, and a pocket that can be used for storing receipts and other paper reminders. It’s “perpetual” because I can add new calendar pages on top of the old ones in such a way that the current year is on top, but I can flip back through the older pages to view previous years, if needed. It’s creative and beautiful and one-of-a-kind!
If you’d like to create a Smash calendar from scratch — or update a Smash calendar you previously made in one of my classes — please contact me! I’ve scheduled a class from 10am to noon on Saturday, February 7th at my home in North Vancouver. The class is now FULL, but I’m taking names for a waiting list. Cost: $25 to make a calendar from scratch, $10 to update an existing Smash calendar with 2015 pages. As an extra bonus, all participants will also receive 2016 pages, so you’re set-to-go when the new year rolls around next January!
Participants will bring a spiral-bound Smash calendar (cover size 7-3/4 x 10-1/4), Sookwang tape, paper trimmer, and specific embellishments. I’ll provide tabs, pages, labels, “library cards”, paper scraps, calendar pages for 2015 and 2016, tools, and detailed instruction sheets.

Hi Chris, When I scheduled this class, I had forgotten that it was the first Saturday of the month (and therefore, our live ATC trade day). By the time I realized my mistake, the class had filled. So I’ll teach that day and miss the trade, but I am sad to miss the trade. I’ll be back in March for sure!
