Open the cover of my second art journal, and this is what you’ll see on the inside cover and title page.
The background was made using lilac-coloured acrylic paint applied with a baby wipe, followed by blue acrylic paint applied with bubble wrap. The white circles and rings were made with bottle caps and jar lids dipped in white paint.
I applied the black Tim Holtz rub-ons using a popsicle stick, tipping some of the text sideways.
Art journaling is as much about enjoying the process as it is about liking the finished result. Here, I had fun adding the various layers, and am happy with the way it looks. It’s a fun “first page” for my second art journal book.
