The background of this page was made using two different colours of Inka Gold (a paste paint with a metallic sheen).  I applied the green with a baby wipe, and the purple with a damp sponge tapped through a stencil.

Because the background seemed dark, I wanted to add white to the foreground.  I scraped gesso onto the page using the edge of a credit card, and then applied some drywall mesh brushed with purple Perfect Pearls.
