I love the soft, ethereal look of this page, which combines many interesting elements and techniques in one page.

The background was painted using a light color of acrylic paint applied with a baby wipe.  I stenciled the leaves onto the page using Distress Ink applied with a blending tool, and then outlined the leaves here and there with a black fine tipped pen.  I collaged several stickers onto the page (flowers on the left and right, and a butterfly) and then incorporated them into the page using acrylic paint and a fine tipped black pen.  Final embellishments included postage stamps, washi tape, rubber stamping, and collaged words (“In quiet moments I think of you and am thankful”) printed from my computer and tinted with Distress Inks.
