This background was made from ink splashes (left over from another project) layered with Distress Ink rubbed through a stencil with a blending tool.
I applied several stickers to the foreground, and scribbled around them with a black pen to incorporate the stickers into the page. I applied a few postage stamps, added a little rubberstamping, and handwrote a sentiment around the largest image. To tie the whole page together, I scribbled around the edge of the whole page with a black pen. Lastly, I applied some tiny bling stickers here and there to add a bit of sparkle.
When I first started this page, I wasn’t sure I would be able to incorporate the yellow and blue ink splatters on the background — but once the page was finished, I was pleased with it (ink splats and all!)
Reblogged this on the minimalism.
